PhD Biomedical Engineering, University of Bern
After professional training as electronics technician in the sensor industry, Lukas studied Systems Engineering with a focus on mechatronics at the ZHAW in Switzerland. Since early on, he was fascinated by the fusion of technology and medicine and could follow his passion in the Masters program Biomedical Engineering of the University of Bern. Lukas then did a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the ARTORG Center of the University of Bern and in 2019, he joined the Urogenital Engineering group, where he is working on the URODEA project ever since. Lukas brings 7+ years of R&D experience in academia and industry and as URODEA’s CTO he aims to develop effective and user-friendly solutions for urinary retention patients.
