Yves received the M.Sc. in Microengineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology – Lausanne (EPFL) in 1989 and the Ph D. degree in 1992. Since 2003, he is Professor and currently director of Laboratory of Integrated Actuators. His research interests are in the field of new actuator design and associated electronic devices
